The wife and mother passed away from the scenes of this life at 2:50 o’clock, being released from a lingering affliction of pulmonary troubles. Her health had been failing for several years, she becime worse about six.months ago and was bedridden tft£ last two weeks.'Mrs. Ida Skoglund was bora in VilstergOtland, Sweden, April 26, 1876. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Ahlberg, who both survive her. The family came to America in 1884., They lived one year at Minneapolis and then located on a farm in the township of Lake Andrew in this county. The deceased was married to John A. Skoglund, Juue 30,1894. They lived for many “years on the old Lars Hedin farm in Lake Andrew. Three children were born to them—Waller, Mable and Victor, now 10, 8 and 5 years old respectively. On April 2 last the family moved to Willmar. Besides the husband, children and parents, the deceased leaves three brothors—Gustaf, who lives on the home farm in Lake Andrew with the parents, and Charles and Albert at New London—and one sister,. Mrs Chas. Woelber of Minneapolis.The funeral occurred last Saturday. Rev. N. Frykman officiated. Brief services were held at the residence in this city at 9:30 o’clock a. m., after which the cortege left for Lake Florida, where the interment took place in the churchyard at one o’clock. There the earthly remains of the tender mother and true wife were laid to rest until resurrection morn. The bereaved family have the sincere sympathy of the community in their affliction.
