Bronxvllle,There was a grand pigeon match in the Horse-shoe Lot, last Friday. Win. D. Smith and Roundsman Joseph Johnston were the best shots.Charles V. Martine, Esq., of this place, has been missing fer several weeks. He left home on Juno 26, with the intention of goiug to Mt. Vernon. On the 27th, he was heard from in Albany. Since then, nothiug is known of his whereabouts. He is executor of the estate of the lute Nathaniel Valentine and his account are all in good order. No cause for his absence is known.There was a party at the residence of Mr. Underhill, last Monday evening,Mr. John Kauo, blacksmith, has removed his shop from the depot, and is now at work in the shop formerly occupied by Mr. Rouse.Mr. J. M. Mastertou is on his way to California.There will be a service of praise, at Union Corners, next Suuday evening, commencing at eight o’clock.Aleut.
