Russell, 77; scattering, 1.Counciltnen—F. Matthias, 1G3; S. F. Coombs, 132; J. T. Jordan; 113; J. M. Lyon, 1G3; M. R. Maddocks, 117; B. Gatzert, 125; L. B. Andrews, 155; J. R. Robbins, 49; H. L. Yesler, 61; S. G. Calhoun, 57; T. H. Stringham, 44; scattering, 10. The jseven highest were elected.There was no party division, contest or excitement over the election, and not one-half the actual voters of the city polled, and the result is generally satisfactory.
