—o---------------terday to the palace.The British Museum.—Mr. J. Doubleday hasat length completed his labours upon the Portland vase. Mr. Doubleday has accomplished his undertaking in so masterly a manner, that it would defy even the most critical to discover where the vase had beea injured. We believe it is the intention of the authorities of the Museum, in order to preserve the vase from future attacks, to keep it in a separate apartment, accessible only by tickets.^ ----- o---- x/ ,n,T^ rrv;
