Racine ave.In a crucial test last Wednesday, the Elks scored an 8 to 3 triumph over the Colts. Frank Ganser, who relieved Jim McDonald on the mound in the fourth inning, homered for the Elks. Russ Johnson continued his torrid hitting pace with two round-trippers.The Lions moved into a second place tie with the Colts with a 15 to 11 victory over the Rams. John Kennedy aided the winning cause with a home run.Manager Mike Clancy will test his all-star team against the South Shore Boys’ league stars at 1:30 p.m. today on the latter’s home field, E. 75 th st. and S. Jeffery blvd. Pairings for the tourney will be announced today.
