Below we give the bids for the stone and carpenter work on the proposed new church in course of erection by St. Mary's parish, on Ottawa street. When completed it will be the finest church edifice in the city, and will cost about $45,000. We have been shown the plans and specification of the new build ing, and propose in a ‘future issue to give our readers a detailed account of the same. The bids for stone work received by the building committee, Father’ Mur phy, Thos. J. Kelly and John Mahoney, are as follows: Joliet Stone Co., 640.08; Simon es eee 00! Fantiogh Doone 26,450; Dene OConnell, $5,850. —
