—The steamer Black Cloud, Cnpt Peacock, came into port yesterday from the shipyard at Lynchburg, entirely reconstructed and ready for a trip where freight can be secured. Captain Peacock has, on his 6taff, Jas. Roach in the pilot-house, and Isaac Wicks in the office. The Cloud—the Black—floats in fifteen inches water, and can, thereiore, snake into most any bayou after a bale of cotton or a bag of peanuts. The Black Cloud has been greatly improved, her cabin extended so as to increase her capacity and comlort for passer^ gers, and in place of the ungainly square or blnnt bow, has a duck of a bow, or what is exiled a “model” bow.
