until tne damage is repaired.Burning of the Steamer Galena.Chicago, July 3.—Oo the morning of the first inst., the steamer Galena took fire at the lauding at Red Wing, Minnesota. Xhe origin of the fire is unknown. The tiatnes spread with such rapidity that the boat was soon enveloped in ! flames About seventy-five passengers were on board, sixty eight of whom were saved. The following are known to be lost: John Tyson, Holly Porter, Nancy Porter, Charles Porter an t Lydia Porter, of Mich igan. The books and papers were all lo»l.*t|i# boat was valued at fiftythousand dollars. No insurance.
