Brown has bought the north acres of the Redhead farm from B. E. Madison, Ia., arrived Tuesday for a visit with her sister Mrs. Charles Lamb and other Lake county relatives and friends. Mr. Morrill is attending the National Educational convention a Milwaukee this week and is expect ed Saturday. The Warren band boys with their friends some seventy-five in number, celebrated at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. John Wooley the evening of the 6th. The fire works were fine 80 was the ice cream and cake, and the music by the band. B. E. Jones has sold the L. N. Brown farm of 140 acres for which he paid $14,000 three years ago, to Ralph Chittenden who now gets the same farm newly fenced and tiled including many other improvements, together with last year’s corn now in crib, and this year’s crop to be harvested and delivered, for only $10,000. Chittenden has surly struck a rare bargain from which he will realize a big when the panic is over.
