James H. Joines James H. Joines, 49 ced Tues day evening, July 7 at his home at 508 Jeffries in the city Death occurred about 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. Joines was with the mainten ance department of the State Highway Commission for some 20 years. Mr. Joines was a native of the State of North Carolina Survivors include: his wife two sons, James James, Jr. James; a daughter, Mrs Yor, Bird Island, Minn, Rosary will be said ‘Thursday night at 8 o'clock at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral serv ies will be at 9 a.m. Friday from Immaculate Conception, Fr. L. 3. Lynch sill offician . Burial is to be in Mt. Calvary Mrs. Fanchion Hollenpeck Mrs. Fanchion Hollenbeck, 36 died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, July after a long illness. Her home was at 441 East Cedar Street. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Donald Dyslin, Freddy and Vickie Jo Hollenbeck, all of Cherokee. Other survivors are one grand son, two sisters Mrs. William Gaul of Sioux City, Shirley Conley, Donnelly, Minn., two brothers, Melbern Con Minneapolis, Micheal Conley Hammond Ind. her mother, Mrs. Fred Conley, of Donnelly, Minn. and her grand mother, Mrs. Walter Brown of Correction lie. She was preceded in death by a son, Harley, April 15, 1968. Funer services will be Thursday at 2 p. 1m, in St. Paul's Methodist Chup with the Rev. J. E. Feller officiat ing. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Hoathhy Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Family members have been asked to meet at 1:30 in the base ment of the church. 8. Hole mae Mae 1 Ho ness died Wede nesday morning, July 8 in the city ,alloiving an extended illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Banister added Cherokee County. resident f. Survivors include: one son, Bob of Omaha; two sisters and one brother: Ethel M. Rohner of Los Angeles, Margaret Nicholas, Sioux Falls, 8. 1, George Banister, Sioux City and other relatives. She was preceded in death by te husband. Leslie G. Wolder hess who died in August, 1951.
