THE LATE MR HENRY MARTINlt;An Appreciation.)The passing of Mr Henry Martin, whose death occurred recently, removes from our midst one of the most honorable and highly respected residents of the district. He was a man of exemplary character, and his word was his bond. Born at Glen don Brook seventy three years ago he later removed with his parents to Westbrook, where practically all his life was spent. He carried on graz ing with considerable success, and at the time of his death was the owner of very fine properties at Westbrook and Reedy Creek. Deceased, who was a single man. was. in company with his brother Thomas, known far und wide as cattle buyers some years ago. and to these two gentlemen can be given the credit of the establish ment of the call selling business in Singleton, which has become such an asset to the district.
