PRESIDENT ELK BREWING COMPANY FACING TRIALJoseph E. Jackson,president of the Elk Brewing Company at St. Marys, and a prominent business man of Elk county, was placed under $1,000 bail for his appearance at the Clearfieid county court to answer charges of conspiracy to avoid the liquorlaws and breaking the liquor laws, when he was arraigned before Justice of the Peace JamesM. Bryan here Saturday afternoon, says the DuBois Courier.
