Mont., July 1.—After trying unsuccessfully to lay a stair carpet Deputy Sheriff Charles A. Farrell told his w^ife he did not appear to be able to do anything and that he felt like blowing out his brains. He went to his room. sat down before a mirror and shot himself through the head. His wife had no* taken his words serl-oualy and was fearfully shocked when she rushed to the room and found him dead. It Is believed the intense heal upset his mind.
