(»eiss died ou last Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of bis mother, Mrs. Marie lt;leiss, after an illness lasting three years, lie was 29 years of age and had spent almost his entire life in Meredosia. He was mar rie l to .Mis*- Ida Hoekwood.of Concord, on August 28, 1881, vs ho, besides a moth er, three brothers and one sister, survive him. The funeral services will be held at the M. K church Wednesday afternoon. Revs Haley and Becker incharge.July 7.
