A preliminary hearing for two Middletown youths accused of breaking into a doctor’s office to get “'pep-pills’’ for a teenage party will be held tomorrow in Middletown City Court. The youths, Thomas Mann, 19, 46 St. Louis Ave., and Charles Wroten, 18, 19 Mulberry St., are being held in county jail in default of $5,000 bail each. They were arrested Sunday after state police raided a teen age party in Circleville. The police picked up 15 boys and girls at the party. Mann and two girls at the party were hospitalized for an overdose of barbituates following the raid. Mann and Wroten are accused of breaking into the home of Dr. Ed ward St. J. Calabrese on Highland Ave, early Sunday morning. They allegedly took a small amount of money as well as the pills from the doctor's office. . The police raid came after a three-month state police investigation into parties being held by teenagers from the Middletown area. A patent medicine containing codeine was allegedly used at the parties. State troopers stopped a car travelling erratically on a road near Circleville Sunday. The youths in the car were said to be under the in fluence of barbituates. They told police of the party, and the raid fol lowed.
