Former Menard Boy Narrowly Escapes Death In Cafe Explosion GEORGE WEST, July 6 (Py~ Flames from an explosion-torn cafe today claimed a fourth vic tim, while two others were near death in a nearby Three Rivers hospital. Sudden explosion of a fuel tank in the rear of the cafe yesterday sent a stream of fire through the establishment. The tank,was be ing refilled at the time. Patsy Jean Morris, 6. of San Antonio, and John Lytle, cafe cook, succumbed last night. Early today James Thomas Davis of San Antonio, driver of the truck, died, and later Mrs. Voss Yates, a cafe customer, died. Bill Hall, son of Joe Hall, who formerly lived in Menard, was slightly injured in the explosion. He was employed at the garage next door to the cafe.
