With prospects of close to 1,000 persons attending, the Sephardic Talmud Torah picnic Sunday at Fortuna Park will be replete with activity, including sports, races, swimming and boating, Dr. Harry S. Tarica, veteran Sephardic leader and picnic chairman, announced to day. Climax of the day-long outing will be announcement of the winner of the title “Seattle’s most popular Sephardic girl,” who will be chosen from Regina Levy, Rachel Peha, Clemence Eskenazi, Rachel Funes and Dorothy Franco, contestants. The award will be made at 8:30 p. m. The entire Sephardic community is expected to attend the picnic, proceeds of which will go toward maintenance of the Sephardic Tal mud Torah. The first boat for For tuna Park will leave Leschi dock at 8 a.m. Sunday, continuing hour ly trips to the picnic grounds until 11 p. m., when the final boat will leave Fortuna Park. A five-piece orchestra will play for dancing. Sandwiches, beer and cold drinks, and a specially prepar ed kosher light lunch will be avail able at the picnic. Mrs. M.
