Several months ago he pur chased the shop of Dau McDonald.He had the shop improved and went to considerable expense. It is thought he went beyond his means in his business affairs and could not see hiB way out.Tuesday midnight he left town. Heinduced his barber, Jack Malone, to go to the train with him and just asthe train pulled in Cory informedMalone he was going to leave this part of the country. He said he was done with it and was not going to come back. Malone protested, but to no avail and Cory embarked for an unknown destination.Numerous creditors have been seeking the tonsorial artist who has flown but they are begining to realize that ^their bills will go unpaid as far as jCory is concerned. Cory leaves a gwife and one child here. It is stated ^on good authority that his domestic jrelations were not pleasant and it was ^evidently his intention to get away j from this association as well as to avoid the creditors.Jack Malone has been running the shop by his lonesome self since Cory left and is endeavoring to make up what Cory owed him.
