It is a thriving bust-,I ness town, all the merchants seem to be ; eiijnviug a prosperous season, and thev are all kept busy tying up goods and waiting on customers, ibe town has six general stores, two drug stores, two hardware stores, one furniture store, and also one lirst class hotel, two restaurants, two blacksmith and machine shops, two millinery stores, one lord «tore, two Hverv stables, one tanners cmunerv, two ‘doctors, three lawyers, i a lirst class graded school, also three ' churches. The lawyers are not doing a I prosperous business, as the people are 1 industrious and law abiding citizens. L ! almost forgot to mention the news-i papers.
