Saturday evening occurred the death of Jerry McCarthy at hip home on Tower Hill. He was 61 years of age, and was born in County-Galway, Ireland, coming to this country 43 years ago. He first resided in Troy, N- Y-, and came to Wisconsin in I860. He lived at Janesville and Qconomo-woe before coming to Waukesha. Here he has been seven years -employed in Blair's blacksmith shop, and was recognized as an excellent workman.The date of the funeral has not yet beeii announced, but as deceased was a member of theG. A. R. Post it will doubtless be under the auspices of that order.Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock occurred the death of J. Gauthier, 3r., at his home on the north side. He was 24 years ol age and married. A surgical operation deemed necessary was performed in the morning, the patient surviving only a few hours.
