IIItThe FeCRTH.— There being no celebration in Chifcon on the anniversary ©f out National Independence, ©ur citizens were left to their own inclinations as to how they would enjoy themselves. Some tight team* went from this section to the Hay ten celebration, but nearly all them ^ arrived too late to hear friend Potter’s,' remark*. Five of the teams were loaded with our German citizens who were preceded by a bras* band and earned in their midst a new national flag and a banner with theooooooooooooooooo O ** THE UNION’ EOREYER ” 0OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOinscribed upon it.
