Zmm How tilFREDERICK (Staff) — Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Stratford for Zena Howell, 83. a resident here for four years who died at 8:30 p.m. Friday in a Frederick nursing home.Funeral will be held in Stratford’s First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Vernon Bradley, officiating. Burial will be in the Stratford Cemetery under the direction of Dalton-Mclellan Funeral Home, Frederick.Zena Mayes was born July 12. 1801, in Polk County. Ark She was married to J. M. Howell on Jan. 25. 1900. at Polk County. Mrs. Howell was a member of the Frederick Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons. J Elvis Howell Sr. of Wichita Falls, Tex . and Leroy Howell of Hitchcock, one sister, Mrs. Nola Crawford of Stratford; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
