Rites Sunday for Frances E. KnoxServices at Immanuel Lutheran ChurchMrs. Frances (Elizabeth) Knox, 85, longtime Adair resident, died early Thursday at the Adair Community Health Center.The daughter of Henry and Elvina Elgin Schollerbcck, she was born in Adair May 2, 1887 and attended schools here. She lived in Atlantic for a time, but had lived in Adair for the last 38 years. Mrs. Knox was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.Surviving are a son, Albert Huss of Atlantic, two grandchildren, Mrs. Peggy Sungren of Des Moines and Gene Huss of Adair; four great grandchildren; a brother, George Schlotterbeck of Tacoma, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Oscar (Mary) Fett of Adair. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Fred Huss; her second husband, George Knox; two infant daughters and a son, Lawrence Huss.Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Daniel Koenig. Favorite hymns were sung by the congregation. Mrs. Marvin Wede-meyer was organist. The church flower committee had charge of the floral offerings.Casket bearers were Fred H. Fett, Charles Fett, Holger Andreasen, Bruce Fett, Kenneth Fett and Roy Hopkins. Interment was in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
