OF DONALD C. WEGE13la a -white lac gown fashioned over satin, Miss Catherine Marie O'Brien, daughter .of Joseph A. O'Brien, Sr., Shawano,. became the bride of Donald C. Wege, Milwaukee, son of Mir. and Mr a. Charles Weg.e, also of Shawano. The ceremony was performed at the home of the Rev. Father Halinde in .this city on Saturday, July 1, at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon.The bride’s gown had a high neckline and puffed sleeves and a plain skirt which graduated to a train in the hack. She wore a full length veilwhich was fastened to a fan-shapedcap made of seed pearls. Her flowers were roees, carnations and larkspur.Miss Irene Boettcher was maid of honor, and wore a blue chiffon gown fdshioned with a square neckline, puff | ] sleeves and a full shirt' She wore ■ flowers in her hair. j;Miss Crystal Wege and Mis3 Elsie jGherke were bridesmaids. Both woregowns of peach chiffon fashioned likethat of the maid of honor. They also had flowers in their hair.Louis O'Brien was best man and Alfred Pleshek and Carl Wege werethe other attendants.A reception was held at the Ed O’Brien home following the service, where covers were laid for 50 guests. Later the couple was honored at a 5:00 o’clock dinner party given toy Mr. and Mrs. Edward O’Brien andMr. and Mrs. Frank O’Brien.The former Miss O’Brien is a graduate of the Sacred Heart school and the Milwaukee Accredited School of Beauty Culture. She has been lean-ployed at the Comfort beauty shop in this city sinc.e last November.Mr. Wege is a graduate of Shawano High school and attended mill-, tary camp at Fort Sheridan, Elmhurst, Illinois.Mr. and Mrs. Wege will live at 649 S. Oak Park court, Milwaukee, where Mr; Wege is employed by the Milwaukee Construction company.
