He entered his plea to the charge and was fined one dollar and costs by Judge Hays and in default of sufficient funds will crack rock for a few days.Lee is a bad man when under the9influence of liquor and yesterday 'evening he was in the north part ofrttown and threatened to use his knifeI| on people as they passed him on the | street. Every one was affraid of him until a large red-headed man came along. Lee made a pass at him with . ■his knife and the big fellow droppedI ■'two bundles he had in his hands and ! 1 took a square lick at his assailant.
