The number of negroes la the United States, including the entire area covered by the twelfth J| ccmsu# (continental United State ft, Alaska, Hawaii and Porto BJcof) is $tmML The report indicate* that between 11 and Ml per cent of negro population has Koui? degree of whits blood, Ovei 77 percent of the negroes live In the country, against over 66 per cent of the whites. Almost 4U per cent of the negroes in the United States are in the Southern States.,
