Phoenix House. Wm. McGlone, who has been in the restaurant and hotel business in Ot tumwa for twenty years, has an exten sive acquaintance, each of whom will be glad to know that his present fine and new building, risen like magic from the ashes of the old home recent ly destroyed by fire, and is one of the neatest and most comfortable buildings in Ottumwa. Mr. McGlone very prop erly has named the new building the “Phoenix House,’”’ which will be for mally opened to the public Tuesday, July 5th. The house has been hand somely furnished throughout, taste follsly and comfortably arranged and will be a most popular resort for all of those who love good cheer. Tyler Hunt, the builder did a good job on this house, and we in common with hundreds of friends will all feel glad that our good old neighbor has provid ed such pleasant and homelike quar ters for his guests, which we hope he may live long to enjoy.
