Fulwiler has announced.Mrs. Rios did her dissertation on Middle English poetic debate literature with an analysis of nine poems written in the 13th, 14th and 15th Centuries as well as concentration in Rhetoric.Mrs. Rios received a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan and went on to earn her M.A. from Teacher’s College at Columbia University.In the spring of 1972, she received a Ph.D. Student’s Award honoring Dr. Autrey Nell Wiler, former chairman of the English Department and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.Mrs. Rios was granted the award for having accumulated the highest number of gradepoints as a doctoral student in English.Mrs. Rios is the wife of Dr. John F. Rios, professor of art.
