i Fargo Ace Pilot Killed in Action Over Germanyi PA EG O — Previously reported missing in action, Capt, Norman E. ©Ison, 29, Fargo's ace fighter pilotin the European theatre, has been killed in action over Germany April 8, according to word receivedTuesday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Olson, Fargo. The report came from the German government through the Capt. Olson International Red Cross and the V. S. war department.Prior to being shot down near Brunswick, Germany. Capt. Olson was the leading ace at his base with seven enemy planes destroyed.Born In Winnipeg, Capt. Olson was a graduate of Fargo high school and attended NDAC for a year and Marquette university. Milwaukee, for two years. He enlisted in April, ' | 1941. and went, overseas in July, 1943.
