Corporal L. 1 Sousae, a highway patrol officer stationed in Meadville, and ea former resident of River Ridge, Franklin, is cited for dis tinguished service in an official order issued by Captain Price, com mander of Troop PD The order commends Corporal Sousae for “ex cellent judgment and ability” in connection with his conduct in ap prehending John Myers an Donald Vogan, alleged bandits, who are accused of holding up and robbing a Kossuth gasoline filling station Although Vogan and Myers were heavily armed. Corporal Sousae walked alone into a Meadville thea tre, arrested the two men and dis a them. ‘The order carries five citations and gives Corporal Sousae the right to wear the cita tion ribbon, one of the highest hon ors the highway department can bestow upon a motor patrol officer
