.Passing of Joseph Albini After an illness covcrng several ‘ 1 months, Joseph Albin passed away at his heme here last Saurday, June 29, 1 a the age of 69. He was born in Guernsey county, Ohio, May 12, 1860. Came to Laclede with his parents in September, 1871, and made his home here until his death.He was married on June 7, 1891. to 1 Miss Eva Borron who is left to mourn his death. No children were ' born to thfs union but a girl was adopted and was given every consideration during her short lif3 that ' parents could give their own child.Besides the wife he leaves a num-1 her of other relatives, and a host of 1 friends to mourn his departure.Mr. AJbin spent many years in the ‘ employ of the Burlington railroad,.1 being section foreman for thirty-seven years, and was an efficient and 1 courteous employee. His record as 1 efficient and faithful trackman will stand for years as one of the best on ? this great transportation system.1 Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday morning, conducted by ’ Rev. F. A. Tinney, pastor of the M.» E church of which the deceased was ’ a member.The pall bearers were six Burling-5 ton section foremen, namely: T. J.Courtney and C. W. Cooper, of La-1 clede; W. H. Childress of Linneus; 1 i Sam T. Caldwell, Brookfield; Mose Millsapp, Sumner; and J. C. Meyers,- Purdin. L. E. Atherton, former- roadmaster, now retired and living 5 at Centerville, under whom Mr. Albinserved as foreman many years, was1 present at the funeral as was several2 other trackmen from out of town.3 The remains were laid to rest in the Laclede cemetery by Director Thorne.r We wish to thank the neighbors J and friends who so kindly assisted during the illness and death of my L beloved husband; also for the beauti-t ful fioral offerings.Jtf rs.lt; Eva Albin.Mr. and Mrs. George Borron.
