LOCAL YOUNG MAN AND MISS FRANCES KERCHEVAL, GREENS BURG WERE MARRIED LAST WEDNESDAY IN KENTUCKY. Announcement of the marriage of Raymond F. Calbert, a well known young man of this city, and Miss Anna Frances Kercheval, of Greensburg, was made today to the surprise of the many friends of the couple. The mar riage was performed in Carrolton, Ky last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the rezicence of the Rev. Howland, of the Carrolton Methodist Episcopal church. Mrs. F. M. Calbert and her son, Ray mond, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Calbert, of Muncie, Ind. and Miss Kercheval, of Greensburg. left were last Sunday a week for Lambs’ Land ing, on the Indiana side of the Onk river, where an outing of a week had been plenged. The marriage was to have been kept By secret, but the Carrolton newspap ers were the means of upsetting the lang which the two had made, Mr. Calbert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Calbert, of 220 west Penn sylvania street. He had been in the employ of the DePrez hardware store, of this city for the past several years where he has a fine position. Mrs. Calbert is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Kercheval, of Greensburg. Besides being a popular young lady In her home city, she is well known among the young people of this city. For several years she has been long distance operator In the Greensburg telephone exchange. When she left for Lambs’ Landing sto was granted 2 10 days’ lnave, and on that account will be unable to be at her home in this city for several days. Por the time being Mr. and Mrs. Talbert will reside with his parents, in west Pennsylvania street. A new home has been planned for them on west Pennsylvania street.
