An Old Resident Gone. Mr. John Mordan of Mount Pleasant Township, died Saturday last and was buried in the Cauby Graveyard on Monday July 1st, aged 78 years, 2m0, and 26 days. The funeral was largely attended. Mr. Mordan died in Mordansville where he was born. [He erected the first stay mill at that place from which time the place took the tunnel. of Mor dansville, Flo lived to see Iunny changes it that Vicinity, a Wilderness turned into a fine little village which today is a thriving place. It has a woolen factory, of which C.L. Sands Hsq. is the owner, a good store and to blacksmith shops. His political faith was of the un swerving «democracy and among the last acts he did” during his sickness which covered about four years,’ was to go tol the polls, and vote for Presi dent Cleveland in 1888. He was much respected as a neighbor and citizen, for his kindness and honesty. Now that uncle John Mordan is no more we say, peace to his ashes __ dust the thing for.
