BURLINGTON - Mrs. Ruth Totten Boone. 98, formerly of 2029 Armhurst Road. Greensboro, died at 5:35 a.m. Tuesday. July 1, 2003. at the Hospire Home of Alamance.A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of the late John Henry Boone, and the daughter of the late Mr. James “Jim” Totten and Mrs. Sallie Wallington Totten.Survivors include a daughter. Mary Ellen Holt (William) of Greensboro; a brother. Taft Totten (Pearl) of Greensboro; two sisters. Plumma Miller of Burlington and Mary Patrick (Booker T.) of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Tracye Holt. Murial Vincent (Tim), both of Greensboro, and Erika Edwards (Robert) of High Point.and two great-grandsons, Nigel and Nicholas Vincent.The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003 at St. John AME Church by Pastor George C. Cheek Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church min-J■utes prior to the service, and at other times at the home.Public viewing will be at Woodard Funeral Home in Greensboro from 1 to 8 p.m. today.Sharpe Funeral Home inBurlington is in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Ruth Totten BooneBoone
