According to Harrison Ewing, director of the Hill Country Arts Foundation’s Junior workshop, performance night for the participants has been set for Monday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Pavillion. Parents, relatives, friends, and the public in general are invited to see the product of each area of experience in which the young have been receiving instruction for the past four weeks. There is no admission charge. The music class, which has been conducted by Patsy Williams, will present ten songs, among them ‘Happiness’’ for which the children have created illustrative props on their own initiative. The dance class , under the direction of Bette Herring, will present a selection from *‘Mary Poppins” in addition to a jazz dance and a tumbling exhibition. The drama class will present ‘‘Noah and the Flood”’ and ‘‘The Tower of Babel’, both written by the drama students themselves. Robert Tindall assists Harrison Ewing in teaching the drama section of the workshop. On the last day of the art classes, students will be taking home the art work they created during the session in Chiquita Squires’ class. Registration is now under way for the second four-week session of the Junior Workshop which begins July 12, and meets Tuesday-Friday from 9-12 noon. The fee is $40 for the full four weeks. Young par ticipants in the Hill Country Arts Foundation's Junior Workshop will close out the first 4-week session Monday with a Performance Night program. These four girls, Tracy Sessom, Katherine Howe, Carolyn Watson, and Laurie Walker, will be part of a group doing the dance of the Little Chimney Sweeps from MARY POPPINS. The drama class and the music class will also make presentations. There is no admission charge for the show which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Pavillion.
