Girl Scout CampOpens 1st SessionrSiThe Cleveland Girl Soout Council’s Camp Julia Crowell at West Richfield, Ohio opened Sunday, June 28, with 144 lucky Girl Scouts from Cuyahoga County Communities participating in the first two weeks session of outdoor fun and character building activities.Three more camping sessions will start July 12, July 26 and August 9 with 592 Girl Scouts benefiting from camping throughout the entire summer. In the final session, Senior Girl Soouts will have the opportunity to spend two weeks at Lake Linnea, the “upper lake” at Camp Julia Crowell. There they will have their own lodge and cook two meals a day. They will learn advanced,swimming and life sav-|^ ing. *•lt;•-' •Camp Julia Crowell has 243 acres of woods and streams. The Scouts spend two weeks living in ( * tents and swimming and boating on the lake under the supervision of Red Cross Life Savers.
