K, McIntosh of the liitptlet church, were largely attended by sorrowing friends and acquaintances.Mrs. Johnson was formerly Miss Shcl-He l'\»rim*r. She wan horn Id Wilson, N.U Sep#and, 1865, and was therefore nearly 37 years old when she died. On Dec. Hilt, 188/i,she was married to Mr. Johnson and the union proved a very happy one* To them were born live children, two ofwhom preceded their mother to the brighter world.Shortly after her marriage, she became a member of the I’rlmltivn Haptlst church and remained a consistent, exemplary Christian to the end. In August,1889, she and her husband removed from Wilson to 1‘untR (iorda, and have lived here ever since.She was a model wife and mother, ever thoughtful of the comfort ami happiness of her husband and children. In theso relations she fulfilled every duty, so endearing herself to her loved ones an to render the parting with her extremely hard to be borne.When her health ami strength permitted, her unselfish and devoted Christian character was shown in her ministrations to the sick and afflicted. It was one of her greatest pleasures to alleviate any suffering coming to ber attention, Thus she tried to make the world hotter and brighter from her having lived in it.Verily, a good woman, a noble, pure spirit lias gone from amongst us.
