These horse thioves have boon pouncing down upon farmers’ property several months. The crime is worse than burglary or ordinary highway robbery, and if continued would be an irreparable injury to the country. This spring aovoral farmers were robbed of all their horses just as they were in the midst of spring’s work, and the loss has verged upon financial destruction. An inquest was held over the body of O’Neil Monday evening the 2Jkl, and it is understood that the verdict of the ,jury iB that the deceased mot his death by suicide, riding on his horse to the telegraph polo, tying the rope to the pole and his neck and drew his horso out from undor him.
