LA rORTEthe county seat is a town in its infancy, capable of making a good business point as soon as the country settles up.The Wayne County lieriew, published by Messrs. Hunter Childs, is doing a good thing for the count}- in its advertising. Mr. lluntcr is the old proprietor and has lately taken in Mr. Childs, a thor ough practical printer from New York.Mr. Hunter is County Judge, and is also busy part of his time on liis splendid farm that adjoins the town site.Mr. .1. T. Bressler, the Treasurer of the County, is also a real estate agent and is pushing his business as are all others in liit line.James Britton, the old Hjand by of the county in the legal way, hangs out his attorney’s shingle in the store where he keeps a stock of goods for those who need the necessities of life.L. F. Jones, tlie county surveyor, has a full set of instruments, and is prepared to do anything in his line for those who need his services.Stevenson Patterson, attorneys at law, attend to business in any of the oourt^BrVHh Bressler keep a stock of general merchandise and are doing a good business.Mr llardenburg has a stock of goods that he is advertising at low figures.
