WIDE AWAKES PROCESSION.Tho Lincoln Wide Awakes, headed by a band of music, marched through our streets last evening^ up to the residence of Hon. Cha’s Case, for the purpose of welcoming him back to tho city. The display, through which the Battalion inarched without uniforms and torches, was excel ent in its character. Whflt reflected most credit upon the “Wide Awakes,** was the fact that though they were assailed with ill-timed taunts and cries for Douglas as they inarched through the streets, they observ-the utmost propriety and decorum, not noticing, by word or action, the cries of the others. That is the right spirit; pursue that course, young Men! throughout the campaign, and our word for it, you will gain for yourselves deserved credit, and the respect of your opponents.Col. 11. \V. Oaktcy made the welcoming speech which was replied to in a felicitous manor by Mr. Case.—Daily of 3rd.
