Bissinger, pastor of the Methodist church at Prescott, Iowa, and a former pastor of the church here, and a close friend of the two contracting parties.Before the marriage ceremony Miss Marjorie Smith of Sharps-burg gave several piano selections, and Miss Dorothy Lewis of Gravity sang “I Love You Truly.”The bride was given in iph i riage by her father, Charles m Weller, and was attended by her sister, Miss Ruby Woodyard, while Mr Talton Hicks, brother of the groom appeared as groomsman.The bride wore a dress of embroidered chiffon and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. Her fingertip veil was held in place by a wreath of orange blossoms. The bridesmaid wore a floor length dress of dusty pink crepe. Her corsage was of white carnations and blue delphiniums.The bride’s mother wore a dress of rose-flowered chiffon and carried a corsage of pink and white asters, The mother of the groom wore a navy blue dress and her corsage was of white and pink sweetheart asters.A reception was held immediately after the ceremony. Mr and Mrs Hicks left after the reception on a short wedding trip.The bride is a graduate of the Gravity high school after which she tootc two years’ work in the State Teachers College at Cedar Falls. She then return ed home and taught two years in the grades of the Gravity schools, and during the past year has been a teacher in the grades of the public schools at Prescott, which position she will retain duriDg the coming school year,The groom was also graduated from the Gravity high school and then went to Simpson College where he finished a four year course, receiving his B. S. Degree last year. During the past year he has been a teacher in the public schools at Guernsey, Iowa. He is subject to call for army training service, consequently his plans for next year are indefinite at this time.Out of town guests at the wedding were:Mr and Mrs L. E.
