FUN AND FROLICSpecial to The TimesCotulla, July 3,—Folks werepiling in here today to join the locals in staging the 12th Annual Frontier Days Celebration and Rodeo which today starts a two day event.Tonight under the lights, K. C. Storey and his famed cowhands, not only from the Rio Grande but from ! ; where ever there are those who like to ride and rope, will stage a big rodeo program. This starts the cele- j bration. !Cotullans today were wearing cowboy costumes and were greeting i their neighbors and tourists in large j numbers. Independence Day always i finds Catulla the Mecca for thous- ! ands who wish to celebrate In true Southerwestern style.Tuesday morning will be the big anuel street parade, at noor. the barbecue, in the afternoon another rodeo and that evening the big social event with the crowning of the queen and her court and a big dance with Jerry McRae and her famous Cowgirl Orchestra furnish| ing the music.
