INTER-OCEAN—VOThor Feragen, for some time past manager of the New York Store, has resigned his position and will leave Saturday evening for Chicago. He has accepted a position as traveling salesman with the J. V. Farwell Co., of that city, the largest wholesalers of dry goods in the Northwest. Mr Fer-agen's many friends will be pleased to learn that he has secured the Dakota territory and that he will make his home in this city. Without doubt the New York Store has never had a better man in charge of the dry gods and ladies' ready-to-wear than Mr. Feragen, and as a result of his untiring efforts he has made a wonderful increase in the amount of business done at this popular store, and has greatly increased the number of patrons. He knows the business and his knowledge of what the trade demands will stand him in good stead in his new position as traveling salesman. While every one is sorry to see Mr. Feragen leave the store, still they hope that he will like his new duties and that he will be successful.iRtiaiaiscinoiMWw
