Miss Jessie McBride, an O. U. grad uate who for the past four years has been teaching in the Santa Barbara (Calif.) schools has left that city and the sequel of her departure from the west is that she soon expects to be married to Mr. Frank Holden, of Cleveland. Upon her departure from Santa Barbara she was tendered a reception and shower by about 70 of her friends. Miss McBride spent last summer in Europe and was very suc cessful as a teacher.
