1 SUjblf 34non Sf-teor. ^Macon, Qa.f Juno 30,—Near 12o* clock, a meteor as largo as a barrel, starting from the xenitb, plunged down the northeastern sky and ex* ploded with a report that reverbera* ted ior thirty seconds, and shook the earth at this point. The meteor was about five seconds falling, during which time ths city was ht up as by electric light. Much excitement prevailed in the negro quarters.
