Gloriously Drunk.After s period of many months of tolerable soberness and good conduct, “Homer” on Tuesday evening let his love of dilnk get the mastery, and got gloriously drunk; and getting hold of a revolver, he threatened to send somebody to the .happy land by a short cat. Marshal Crane was sent for, and requested the loan of that little gun, but Homer said no! whereupon he took the ooarage outot him with his persuader, got possession of.the pistol and marched him to the cooler, where ho was allowed to rest and recover.It would seem as though some niMtns could be used to prevent hU procuring the means to get Intoxicated. The man who sells or buys for him, ought to keep him company In the lock up, and pay heavily for tlie privilege.
