Driver hurt in crash‘67 Shelby Cobra hits fence, rollsBy Denise Marie SiinoMother Lode NewsAn El Dorado Hills man reportedly speeding near the Folsom Lake shoreline in a 1967 Shelby Cobra Tuesday night, June 24, was injured when he crashed, according to California Highway Patrol officer Mike Schultz.James France, 32, was driving northbound on Guadalupe Drive just north of Encina Drive in El Dorado Hills at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred at about 7:40 p.m., Schultz said.The vehicle ran off the side of the road and struck a fence before it rolled over, Schultz added.France, who was not wearing seat belt, according to Schultz, suffered from a possible back injury and lacerations to his head and arms when he was ejected from his classic car. The car was totaled.After being treated at the * scene, Medic 85 in El Dorado Hills transported France to UC Davis Medical Center.
