He arrived Wednesday from Craig Field, Alabama, where he completed his flying training and received his wings June 27. Brotherton and children of Dixon, IL, visited in Escanaba, their former home city. on Friday, en route to North Miami, the Brotherton resort at Curtis, for a vacation visit Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Peltier are leaving today to attend the wedding of their son, Donald, to Miss Rita Bieise of Beal City. Which will be held July 4 at St. Philemon’s church in Béal City. Mr. Peltier is a graduate of Esca- Baba high school, class of 1928, and is a flight instructor at Mt. Pleasant. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon EB. Whit nney are leaving the morning to return to their home at Barbaboo, Wis., after spending the week-end at the homes of Rev. and Mrs. BD. L. Cathcart and Mr. and Mrs Mose Whitney. Mrs. W. J. Clark has returned from a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dernan and a family in Lansing and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Finch and family in Cleveland, Ohio. She was accompanied home by her granddaughters, Catherine Degnan and Nancy Finch who will spend a few weeks vacation here with her. Miss Betty Jaccer has resumed her studies at Evanston Hospital School of Nursing, Evanston, TI. Miss Jaeger was called home at the time of the death of her fiance, Lt. Harold R. Peterson, of Bark River, who was killed in a plane crash. Cpl. Michael Kolich is spending a 10-day furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mi chael Kolich, and at the close of his furlough will return to his sta tion at Lakeland, Florida, Cpl. Gould and chil dren, Patricia, Nancy and Jack, of Grand Rapids are here for a few weeks visit at the home of Mrs. Gould’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William L. Kennedy. Dorothy Adams left Saturday morning for Dresden, Canada, for a few days visit with relatives and friends before going to Detroit, where she is employed.
