J.fn-srP-iyen-10il-f:hn-1-z-8,aillidA.y.Columbus, Ga., July 1.—The body of Epps Melton was found in the Chattahoochee river near Blanton's Landing this morning. Bodies of Max Melton and John Leak were found yesterday. The father of the Melton boys has disappeared. The entire county is excited.Epps Melton had a bullet hole through his head and a rock was tied around his neck. It is believed that the three boys were ambushed Sunday night. *The bodies of two white men found in the Chattahoochee river about thirty miles north of Columbus yesterday morning were identified as those of Mack Melton and John Leak, who have been missing since Friday.Melton was foreman of a brick yard near West Point. One of the men was tied to a trot line, being strung on the line as a fish. An incision had been made in his neck and the line passed through his mouth.
