Industry at Crescent liar.A new company, headed by X. T. Potter, as president, and F. J. Potter, as secretary-treasurer, lias been formed at Trinidad for the purpose of conducting a boat building and general repairing establishment, which will be known as the “The Crescent Manufacturing company ” The junior member of the firm. V J. Potter, is well and favorably known as a designer and builder of boats and launches and will take active charge of the business.The factory is located on Crescent Bar and is rapidly nearing completion. It will be fully equipped for doing all kinds of repair work as well as the building or boats and will be enlarger as business justifies, and will be built to accommodate machinery for doing all classes of heavy engine and machine work.In connection with this plant, and as a side line, the company will manufacture the “Miracle” hollow building block, for all kinds of buildings and cement pipe for irrigation work. —Quincy Quill.
